What Kind of Energy Do We Want to Send Out Into the World?

whatkindofenergy2

Suppose, for a moment, you could let go of all old memories of past mistakes, failures, losses, judgments and reaction patterns that have shaped your life up to now? If, for one moment, you could be free of all fear, anger, hurt, hate, doubt and suspicion, what kind of energy would you want to send out into the world? When I ask myself this question the answer always comes back, love.

One early morning in late 1985, while driving an empty mini-bus over Mt. St. Helena in Calistoga, California, I had a life-changing experience (Encounter With the Energy of Unconditional Love) that showed me what it feels like and what it means to be loved unconditionally. It was an emotional ride like no other. Following are several excerpts from that lengthy experience:

This is the energy of unconditional love,” says a deep, soothing male voice that seems to come from every point within the energy field at once.

Wow, I sob even harder now, because I know it’s true! That’s why I keep bursting into tears every time I touch this Energy. Intuitively, I must have known all along what it was but, intellectually, I didn’t have a clue until now. What I do next completely astounds me but seems only natural under the circumstances – I open up. I utterly and spontaneously open my life and being to this loving Energy. And just as quickly as I open up, I begin to shut down because it suddenly occurs to me that every thought, feeling, and act I’ve ever committed in life is now completely exposed to view, the bad ones as well as the good ones. Feelings of vulnerability and shame begin to fill my mind.

Sensing my growing anxiety, the all-present Voice calmly reassures me by saying: “Nothing you can ever say or do can keep you from being loved unconditionally.”

At once stunned and relieved by the unconditional acceptance behind these words, I cry even harder. I’ve never experienced this kind of love before, at least not in human terms! As I experience it now, I know there’s nothing I have to do to earn it. Just being is enough. Here, unlike the human world, there are no demands, no expectations, and no pre-conditions to satisfy before I receive love. It’s simply here to experience, remind and enjoy.

Literally bathing in this loving energy, I wonder if the anger, misperceptions, and imagined sins of my past will wash away forever. I use this moment to imagine they will, if not forever, at least for now. Even if it’s just the beginning of the end for these negative thoughts and feelings, that’s good enough for me.

As my own love begins to flow, I find myself joyfully wanting to perform miracles for this Loving Energy, to honor it for the loving regard in which it holds me. A superman in this alternate reality, I perform feats of magic and strength that are impossible to perform in the physical world. Then I stop to think about how important it is for me to fulfill my own unique potential as a human being here on earth. Suddenly, I know that the Energy of Unconditional Love is home, my real home! It is my place of birth or point of origin as a living soul. As I remember this, I also remember that the Energy of Unconditional Love is more than just a “place” – it is a state of mind and being I can create and experience wherever I am, no matter what I am doing!

When I can love enough to forgive and forget past mistakes and transgressions committed by me and against me, when I can see the world through other people’s eyes and realize that life is just as challenging for them as it is for me, my heart softens and love begins to flow. In that moment, I’m able to forgive us all for our trespasses and remember that what we do now and in the future is far more important than worrying about what we have done in the past.

Yes, forgiveness is the Big Kahuna I want to master! When I allow myself to forgive myself and others, I feel my spirit move. It’s a rare feeling, which tells me how much I’ve bought into the Old Testament, vengeance is mine philosophy of right and wrong, good and bad, guilt and punishment. Old Testament thinking is huge in our world and it is so self-destructive. Other than aging, it is the primary source of suffering, illness, injury and death in the world.

Forgiveness and Appreciation – Until we learn how to forgive, we cannot let go and move on. Until we stop treating ourselves like children, we cannot grow past childhood’s end. Until we can see how amazing life is, we cannot appreciate it for the magic and wonder that it is. Until we can do these things, we’ll be stuck in a time warp, doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again with little more than cosmetic change. Even though we are clever enough to build cars, airplanes and computers, we are still barbarians at heart until we learn how to forgive and move on. Isn’t it time we stop being the hapless victims of reality and become the conscious creators of it?

Is it hard to forget our old ways? Is it hard to forgive ourselves for past transgressions? Is it hard to take full responsibility for our lives and begin to think for ourselves? Yes, there is nothing harder! But, is it worth it? Yes! The more we practice forgiveness, the more we let it permeate us mind, body and soul, the more love will emerge to fill our lives. Forgiveness is the key to salvation and redemption. And once we actually forgive ourselves, we realize there was nothing to forgive in the first place. When we’re doing the best we can, what more can we ask of ourselves?  But there’s always more to know isn’t there? And once we know more, there is no excuse not to change.

Jane and Seth on A Safe Universe

“As long as you believe that you dwell in a universe that is a threat, you must defend yourself against it. As long as you believe that the self is flawed and that the race is doomed and evil, you must defend yourself against yourself. And how can you then trust the voice of the psyche? When I say to you, ‘be spontaneous’, how dare you take that step? To be spontaneous would obviously give rise to all the lust, passion, murder, and hatred that to you is inherent in the human heart.”

The Seth Material in a Nutshell

“You cannot escape your own attitudes, for they will form the nature of what you see. Quite literally you see what you want to see; and you see your own thoughts and emotional attitudes materialized in physical form. If changes are to occur, they must be mental and psychic changes. These will be reflected in your environment. Negative, distrustful, fearful, or degrading attitudes toward anyone work against the self.” – Seth

No Responsibility, No Freedom.

We all want to be free to be ourselves and do what we want in life, don’t we? We want to be free of judgment and fear, criticism and condemnation. The question is, how can we be free to be and do what we want when we consistently act in ways that hurt ourselves and others? Why do we not trust ourselves and one another? The answer is simple and we know what it is; it’s our survival of the fittest, Law of the Jungle mentality. When we think we’re all separate and life is a matter of survival of the fittest, we become predators and each one of us becomes fair game for the other. It’s eat or be eaten, kill or be killed in the minds of many. By choice or out of ignorance, we create the need for oppressive government, religion and laws, external regulation and control, to protect us from ourselves. As Pogo profoundly observes: “We have met the enemy and he is us.”

The problem is not outside us, it’s inside us, in the form of beliefs. If we choose to believe we’re separate and there’s not enough to go around, we’ll see the need to “fight” for survival, and enough will never be enough. When we see ourselves as one, interdependent and separate, we’ll work together for survival. It’s all a matter of perspective! When we treat ideas about who we are and what reality is like sacred recipes in a cookbook, never questioning or challenging them, they control our behavior, not us. When we mindlessly stick to old beliefs, like old recipes, we create our reality by default, not conscious design or intention. We need to actively challenge both our personal and cultural beliefs if we’re not happy with the reality we’re experiencing.

seatofpower

Seat of Power

We are not bad, it is our ideas about who we are and what reality is that are bad.

“Trust us!” say some business and political leaders. “Greed is good, and markets free of regulation will correct themselves.” We all want freedom but freedom to do what – rape, pillage and steal? In a speech given March 23, 1775, Patrick Henry convinced the Virginia House of Burgesses to commit troops to the Revolutionary War in America’s fight for independence from England and the colonies it controlled in America. The final and most memorable phrase of Henry’s speech was, “Give me liberty, or give me death!” New Hampshire’s state motto, currently, is “Live Free or Die”. Just before my discharge from the Air Force in 1964, I had an epiphany. I realized all I wanted to do was be me! Isn’t that what we all want? Don’t we all just want to be ourselves? But, how can we be free to be ourselves and do what we want if we don’t include that same freedom for everyone?

“Okay”, you say, “but how can I give freedom to you if all you want is to steal or destroy everything I value to enrich yourself? That won’t work!”

No, it won’t, if my world view is limited and all I ask myself is, What’s going to work best for me?

Before we ask the question, What’s going to work best for me, we need to ask, What’s going to work best for ALL of us? By including everyone and all of nature in our calculation, not only do we acknowledge our oneness with (and separation from) everything, we cover all the bases. When we ask ourselves questions like What’s going to work best for ALL of us, in personal terms, and in terms of business, education, the environment and peace?, we are giving ourselves credit for being able to find good answers to these questions, whether they originate with us or not. When we ask questions like Who do I love to be? and What do I love to do?, we become conscious shapers of both ourselves and our reality, not mindless followers of established cultural and family patterns. Nor are we simply “reacting” to life.

WE CREATE OUR OWN REALITY

During the course of everyday events we often forget the role of thoughts in the forging of our material reality. We get lost in the visible symbols, the material by-products of our imaginations, forgetting the invisible blueprints from which they, and we, emerge.

Pure energy, like money, its material equivalent, is shaped into matter and experience by thought. It can be used to lift up or smash down, to build character or destroy character, to express love or express hate, to beautify or make ugly.

The purpose, or challenge, of life is to learn how to use thought in its various forms to shape energy into a pleasing reality. The prize is a sense of satisfaction, a feeling of a job well done. And, like learning to walk or talk, it is a personal, subjective endeavor that requires creative aggression. It is a great balancing act, where one must accept falling down in the course of learning how to stand up.

Remember:

Thoughts are “things” with a reality of their own and you, an artist. With thoughts in the forms of belief, attitude, value and expectation you paint the landscape of your life. CREATE A GREAT DAY!

“Reality” starts with the interaction of consciousness and energy, thoughts and emotions. What we see with our eyes, hear with our ears, touch with our skin, taste with our tongue and smell with our nose is the energy of our thoughts and emotions after they have condensed into matter or experience. What our bodies call the “present” is the past for consciousness and energy because new thoughts and emotions are already hard at work forming the next moment of our material experience. Just as a glass mirror reflects the image of our physical body, reality reflects the nature of our beliefs. If we see something in our lives we don’t like, we’re meant to change it. Obviously, some things we can’t change. For example, once we lose a limb, unlike some species, we can’t grow it back. When we see that our policies (beliefs and behavior) cause us and others, more pain than pleasure, more harm than good, we can and should change them.

Changing ourselves and the world for the better

“God”, or the consciousness and energy of All That Is, lives within us. Therefore, the best, least traumatic and most efficient way for us to change the world for the better is for each of us to change ourselves for the better. Otherwise, as our rich history informs us, others will take it upon themselves to do it for us and who knows what or how they’ll choose to do? Here are several ways we can change ourselves for the better:

  1.  We create our reality from what we choose to believe. For example, if we believe that all men are separate and life is a matter of survival of the fittest, we’ll create a world of fear, competition, violence and pain. If we believe that all things are both one and separate and that all life is interdependent, we’ll create a world of love, partnership, peace and pleasure. If we hate ourselves, we’ll treat ourselves and others badly. If we love ourselves, we’ll treat ourselves and others well. What we’ve done in the past is not important. What we do now and in the future is what’s important.
  2. We need to take full responsibility for creating our reality. In other words, don’t waste time blaming ourselves, our parents or society for the things we don’t like about ourselves or the world. The only reason we blame ourselves and others is because we’re not yet taking full responsibility for what we believe, for the ideas in our belief system that create our reality.
  3. We need to get clear on what works for us and what works against us. Each one of us is a unique, individualized expression of All That Is. There is no right or wrong, good or bad, there just Is. There is what works for us and what works against us, what brings us pleasure and what brings us pain.
  4. We need to take action every day! We need to ask questions, look for answers and keep a journal.  The more time we spend bemoaning the present, the less time we have to change our future. We need to take a survey of how we spend our time and energy. For example, how much time do we spend debating issues with other people to see who’s right or wrong, good or bad, smart or stupid, instead of looking for solutions that work best for all of us? How much time do we spend listening to news about the state of the world instead of doing something to change it? How much time do we spend complaining about life and making excuses for ourselves, instead of doing something constructive about the circumstances we find ourselves in? (We shouldn’t feel embarrassed about this either because cultural beliefs like “you’re basically bad, you can’t trust yourself, you’re the result of a cosmic accident”, and “genes control your looks, sex, sexual orientation, intelligence and behavior” program us to accept our fate and not question it. Ideas like these tell us we can’t change so why bother?)
  5. To start, ask questions like: Who are we? What’s reality? What’s the purpose of life? Who do I love  to be? What do I love to do? What’s going to work best for ALL of us, in personal terms, and in terms of business, education, the environment and peace? To get answers, use these questions as the title of a paper for school or for yourself. Hold these questions in your mind before falling asleep and write down any information you wake up with in the morning. Meditate on these and other questions you want answers to. Use the creative nature of All That Is to find answers and then challenge them until you feel certain the answer works for you and everyone. (See: Ask Value Questions and Listen for Intuitive Answers)
  6. Make the jump from a Value Judgment World (external value system) to a Value Fulfillment World (internal value system). The ideas we hold as beliefs serve as the building blocks for the creation of our reality. To the extent we fail to question or take responsibility for our own beliefs, we create the need for an external value system (which, in and of itself, can lead to abuse) to control our behavior for our own safety and the safety of others. In effect, we define ourselves as children who need “Big Brother” controls. To the extent we understand and apply the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you., we eliminate the need for external control.
  7. Say, “I love myself” to yourself until you actually feel it. By going through the process of repeatedly saying to yourself, “I love myself.”, you begin to see how good you are, how much you do, and how well you do it. This process serves as an antidote to cultural messages that seek to control who you are and what you do. The more we can love ourselves, the more we can love others. The more we can appreciate ourselves, the more we can appreciate others. Let’s stop being Master Fault Finders and start becoming Masters of Appreciation!

Without taking full responsibility for creating our reality, how can we grow and how can we expect to be free?

The Intent of the Soul, A Message From Veronica

“The energy that is you seeks the purpose of every linear life that it creates. We often are asked the purpose behind the creation of one’s physical self. The intent of existence [is] often lost amongst the multiple confusing dramas created by the ego of the physical.

The muddled energy behind all these dramas sends mixed messages to the conscious self creating confusion for the individual who is truly engaged in finding the reason for their current existence.

‘What is my purpose?’

The soul knows its intent but the ego attached to the physical manifestation becomes enraptured with the experience and loses all focus upon its original intent.

Those who wish to engage their soul should perhaps stop focusing upon their physical dramas and beckon a silent moment void of talk, movement or sound: The silence of all moments that shout different perspectives & expectations of a linear self that no longer adheres to the wishes of the soul.

This separation is the seed of all discontent with the physical. Unfortunately all who seek guidance with their purpose are often at the precipice of revelation. The ego, however, desperate to maintain its dominance will participate in any way it can to save its hold upon the individual.

‘What do I do? The ever present question of those seeking evolvement.

What to do indeed…

The best prescription is silence. Silence of all those ego based moments that resound in your heart & mind leaving you confused & desperate.

The soul was caste from a symphony of silence while all those in attendance joined in chorus, but it is the silence of ego that propels it to manifestation.

All the voices of your physical self taking a moment of silence while engaging the vocals of your soul will lead you to an understanding of your purpose.

It is not as you imagined it. It is not an event but an intricately woven tapestry of many lives that may or may not crescendo in your current life. Understand that in the end it is your soul intent that will prevail.  Silence your ego and the path will become more available but not necessarily final.

Realize that physical life is a stairway to your enlightenment on a soul level. Each step important but it takes many steps to reach the next level. To judge your footsteps only impedes your process. Focus upon the stepping towards the goal, which is the reuniting with your intent & soul.

Progress occurs every moment, it just may not seem so from your current perspective.”

Belief Systems – A Message from Veronica

(VERONICA is channeled by medium April Crawford – Pete)

“Every existence in the physical participates in a belief system that becomes relevant or irrelevant to the soul as it progresses.

There is no judgement from our perspective of which system perpetuates evolvement or not.  Each experience is designed to bring clarity.  Since the soul energy is unique and omnipotent it is only natural that there would be a variety of choices for every soul in every lifetime.

It is important for all souls incarnate to recognize the uniqueness they posses by existing in the physical.  The honoring of other soul choices should not be excluded on the path to individual evolvement.  As proven often in your physical sciences energy frequency is varied and multi-tiered in its intenseness.  It is only natural that there would be many approaches to the alignment of the core energy from which one emanates, i.e., the source of your soul.

Questions have been posed as to the origin of our energy.  We are as yourselves only not continuing the physical line.  Our perspective is a bit broader due to the lack of linear drama often created on the way to understanding in physical.

We seek not to pontificate on the path you should take.  We merely offer perspective on the truths you really already know & which you may have forgotten… or perhaps misinterpreted.

There is not a correct single belief system since there are many varied consciousness souls currently involved in physical.  These systems are usually derived from culture, and serve the individual in their numerous lessons and perspectives.

Religion in its linear form also can shade the beliefs of an individual.  We only remind you to seek the truth of your soul, not the outside dogma and ceremonies attached to a particular religious venue.

Always seek the energy of your soul.  If indeed a particular path calls you then be where you must be.  Eventually the truth of eternity will find you, until then simply listen to your soul.

The voice of the inner will always be the clear one regardless of the volume of the many.”

Time for The Soul

A Message From VERONICA (Veronica is channeled through medium, April Crawford – Pete)

“The briskness of living leaves one breathless in the pursuit of the true purpose for incarnating.  We are often questioned on the “why” of one’s existence in a particular life process while the true desire of the soul appears to have been left behind or misplaced.

There is great sorrow when one feels they have lost their way.  Whispers of the path sometimes echo in the mind but the chaos of daily living and survival suppress the opportunity for clarity.

We have spoken to many of the frustrated individuals seeking “to right” the seemingly wrong turns of their life processes.  For the soul to blossom in a linear life there is need for focus and reflection without the interference of drama.

We feel the tenseness in your energy as you read this.  The voice in your head immediately lists many reasons for the disconnect you feel from the world of the eternal.  Your work, relationship, children, family, etc. all have priority in the immediate moment for your attention.  There seems nothing left, and you are correct.

The soul needs nurturing more than any other element in your life.  Everything else will eventually suffer without a solid connection to your soul and yourself.

Yes, others have need of you but without your inner soul’s energy they will be unfulfilled.

You have to have it to give it in other words.  Time for the soul is the best path to fixing the misaligned life you feel dissatisfied with.

So what does one do to reconnect with the soul?  Give it time & attention so that it may communicate with you as intended when you decided upon a physical life.

Begin by taking some moments in your morning and before you retire to clear your mind of all the dramas of the day.

Give yourself permission to be still and tell others that you are meeting with your soul.  Begin slowly & realistically.  Be comfortable in those moments but most of all seek yourself, you know the one.  The one you never have time for… your soul.

Attempt the process.  You may be surprised at the results”
